Building Work DoneThe trend estimate of the value of total building work done fell 1.8% in the September quarter.The seasonally adjusted estimate of the value of total building work done fell 0.5% to $29,706.0m following a fall of 4.3% in the June quarter.
New Residential Building Work DoneThe trend estimate of the value of new residential building work done fell 3.3% in the September quarter. The value of work done on new houses fell 2.2%, while new other residential building fell 4.5%.The seasonally adjusted estimate of the value of new residential building work done fell 3.4% to $16,039.6m. Work done on new houses fell 3.0% to $8,848.5m, while new other residential building fell 4.0% to $7,191.1m.
