回答: "emptiness" is an overvalued notion. 由 湖叶 于 2022-03-30 19:03

As I know, there are lots of different schools in Buddhism. It seems that I am familiar with two of them. One of them declare that every things are depending on other things ( may be called their condition.)

Thus all the things we perceive are depending on each other, and we that are perceiving them are depending on the things perceived by us.

It could sounds ridiculous if you realize that they're trying to control a TV set by analyzing the drama shown on its screen.

The other ones usually are talking about emptiness, nothingness, oneness, inner light, etc,and there could be lots of names that all to used to indicate the first cause, which must be unconditioned, otherwise they would be depending on another really secret and truly first condition.

They could seem ridiculous as well if they don't admit their ignorance,

and couldn't realize "empty space" “light""awaking from a dream" etc are all metaphoric like some fables. (Please refer to my other answers.)
