What does "you are the truth" mean?

If you have seen the films The Matrix or Inception, it may be easy for you to accept the possibility that we are probably living in some kind of dream world and that what we see can never be the 100% truth. (It doesn’t matter whether it is really a dream or not, even if we are in a dream, you can never say “ me, myself is not real” .)

The facts are facing you, (or you’re facing them), what is behind it is an eternal secret.

We should know that all images or other phenomena can never leave his own "stage" ...... , but we can never see the "stage" and we can never call it God or the Tao with absolute certainty.

（When I call it “stage”, it is kind of a concept about space, but life is more about time. So pay more attention in the background of time/life. You can feel it on your way while walking or riding a bicycle/train. And more obviously you can hear it while listening to a song with long tune. )

There is a saying in China, "We do not know that there is a Tao, just as a fish does not know that there is water".

Why the fish does not know there is water, because it has never left the water.

Do you know what else you can never leave? Yourself.

One can never escape from oneself, although sometimes one longs for this sort of peace.

Water doesn’t know he or she is water. Darkness doesn’t know itself is darkness.

And it seems to me that the real cause of anxiety is that we cannot see or find the true nature of ourselves.

Why do we hate ourselves? Because we feel these are not the real us, the true us.

The real me is not the body, nor is it some thought, nor is it a state without thought, nor is it some special mystical spiritual experience.

Therefore, you are the truth. Or rather, the real you and the ultimate truth are the same ultimate secret, hidden forever behind all that we perceive or experience.

No one can reach the ultimate, including me. (All you can do is have a belief that your true nature is ultimate) Don't be deceived by what you see, no matter how brilliant it is !

No matter how hard we try, the plot of a tv show will never be equal to the ways a television works.

People are often deluded by what they see.

Water doesn't know it's water. Energies don't know they are energies. Power doesn't know they are power. Darkness doesn't know they are darkness, blinded by lights or brightness. Heaven above is just a piece of wallpaper. We are the real heaven, the true heaven, where everything is inside us and not outside. The wind cannot blow the light. The light cannot kill all the darkness. (First the darkness, then the light, and the light is always inside the darkness.)

All we need to do is to have faith in ourselves (our unknown true self), whatever it is, it is always here. (If there is an "author", some kind of ultimate power, it must always be here for us too).

Yet within each yang is always a yin, and within every belief/hope is always some doubt/fear.

If you are already 100% sure of something, there would be no need of a belief.

So the real ultimate war between light and darkness is within us, not outside.

Mind yourself first, talk, even argue, don’t curse ,don’t fight, don’t war.

(If necessary, for some kind of emergency, we can bet on a sports match. Every life is unique, not just a statistic.)
